Our Story
Pacific Fence was founded in 2010 by Craig Anderson, who dedicated more than 25 years to serving the Santa Cruz community with quality workmanship and reliable service. When Craig retired in early 2025, the Petzer family acquired Pacific Fence, carrying forward the standards of integrity, craftsmanship, and reputation that Craig had worked so hard to establish.
Today, Pacific Fence is proudly owned and operated by Darrin Petzer, a South African native who made Santa Cruz his home while enjoying a career in orchard management and landscape installation.
In early 2025, Darrin and his family purchased Pacific Fence with a commitment to carrying forward the craftsmanship, reliability, and reputation the company was built on. Just weeks later, Darrin and his wife welcomed their daughter, Wylder, into the world — making Pacific Fence a true family-run business.
On occasion, customers may even see Wylder joining her dad on-site, a small but meaningful reminder that Pacific Fence isn’t just about building fences, but about building a future rooted in family and community.
